Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know.

Common questions about insurance for expats, Malaysians, and foreigners in Singapore.

Getting Started

Do I really pay nothing for your service?

Correct. We're paid a commission by the insurer when you take up a plan — the same price you'd pay going direct. There's no markup, no hidden fee, and no obligation.

What happens in a consultation?

We'll have a relaxed conversation about your situation — your coverage needs, budget, family, and plans. Then we'll compare options from multiple insurers and present what fits. No pressure, no sales pitch.

How quickly will you contact me after I book?

Within 1 business day. We'll reach out via WhatsApp or phone — whichever you prefer.

Coverage & Plans

I'm an expat without CPF — can I still get coverage?

Absolutely. In fact, that's exactly who we specialise in helping. Without CPF and MediShield Life, you need private coverage — and we'll help you find the right plan for your budget and needs.

Do I need insurance for my work pass application?

Some work pass types require proof of medical insurance. We can help you get the right plan that satisfies MOM requirements while also giving you proper coverage.

Can I cover my spouse and children?

Yes. We offer family plans that cover your spouse and dependants — whether they're on a Dependant Pass, LTVP, or Student Pass.

What if I already have employer coverage?

Employer plans often have gaps — limited hospital coverage, no outpatient, or coverage that disappears when you leave. We can review your existing plan and advise on whether you need a personal top-up.

What's the difference between local and international plans?

Local plans cover treatment in Singapore (often at specific hospital tiers). International plans cover you globally — useful if you travel frequently or might relocate. We'll help you decide which makes sense.

For Malaysians

I'm Malaysian working in Singapore — do I need private insurance?

Yes. As a foreigner, you don't have CPF or MediShield Life. If you're admitted to a Singapore private hospital without coverage, bills can easily run into tens of thousands. Private insurance is essential.

Can I use my Malaysian insurance in Singapore?

Some Malaysian plans offer limited coverage in Singapore, but they're rarely sufficient for private hospital stays here. We'll review what you have and recommend whether you need Singapore-based cover.

What happens to my coverage if I return to Malaysia?

It depends on the plan. Some plans are portable and continue covering you in Malaysia. We'll make sure you choose one that fits your long-term plans.

Claims & Support

What happens if I need to make a claim?

We help you through the entire claims process — from gathering documents to following up with the insurer. You're not on your own.

Do you help after I've signed up?

Yes. We're your ongoing point of contact for claims, renewals, plan changes, and any questions that come up.
